External volumes on a Mac
USB Desk is a paid plan for people whose flash drive, SSD, or disk never appears in the Finder sidebar. You ask for an invoice by email. Access is sent only after that invoice is paid. There is no free tier and nothing to take from this page.
A healthy stick can sit on the cable and never show a name in the sidebar. The Mac already has a disk arbitration service that is supposed to notice new volumes. Sometimes that pass stalls after sleep, after a hub, or after the same drive was pulled too early.
USB Desk is not Apple, not a shop that takes your Mac in for service, and not a promise that a dead disk will come back. If the hardware is finished, it stays finished.
We do not take over the machine, we do not ask you to call a technician, and we do not put a file on this page for anyone to grab. Payment first. Access second. By email only.
It will not invent a driver for an NTFS volume, and it will not replace Disk Utility when First Aid already reports a failing disk.
All prices are United States dollars, billed once. Choose the plan on the invoice form. Household and Studio are for Macs you use yourself, not for resale.
| Plan | Covers | Price | What is billed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Single | 1 Mac | $29 | One invoice, one inbox, access after payment |
| Household | Up to 3 Macs | $49 | Same inbox, three seats on one invoice |
| Studio | Up to 5 Macs | $79 | Same inbox, five seats on one invoice |
No free plan. No trial. No card field on this site. Refunds: if you have not used access, write to [email protected] within 14 days of payment. See Terms.
A few checks cost nothing and save an invoice if the cable is the whole story.
USB Desk is sold by USB Desk. Orders, invoices, and questions go to [email protected].
Privacy, refunds, and the sale terms are on this site. We keep the email you type so we can send the invoice and, after payment, the access letter. We do not sell that inbox.
